A working roll for caulking, insulation and expansion joints, sold as a 50 ft length. Each piece measures roughly 36 inch long by 2 inch across, with a dense foam body, moulded from polyethylene foam.
Expansion joints, window perimeters and any gap too deep to fill with sealant alone
Size the rod about a quarter wider than the gap, roll it in with a blunt tool so the skin stays intact, then tool the sealant over the top. Buy once and the tubes usually outlast the swimsuit they were bought with

Great project insulation. I used it to make a roll-up swim-spa cover. Poly tarp upper, this foam roll layer 19-ft long 8-ft wide, poly tarp bottom, painted wooden rods 8-ft long across… 58 of them for the 19-ft length. Holds the spa heat in nicely. Energy bill has stayed low. One roll got me the 8-ft by 19-ft coverage with some foam roll material left over.
Used this roll to wrap an ornamental fig tree. It's perfect and playable to protect my trees from the frost.
